The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Government Affairs Conference has experienced tremendous growth as credit unions have become a popular banking alternative for Americans. Their annual meeting, originally held at a Washington, DC hotel, moved to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in 2008.
 
Thanks to unique synergy of housing both a trade show and special events division under one roof, Hargrove has provided extensive general contracting services for the event for both the meeting’s trade show and other events for over twenty-five years. CUNA is also able to leverage Hargrove’s expansive inventory of décor elements and incorporate them into different facets of the meeting.

In order to ensure the environment was conducive to networking and community building after the move from a hotel, Hargrove created a variety of networking and lounge areas while continuing to support the growth of the trade show and the extensive production requirements for its general session and plenary.
